This Memorial is to four members of the Ever Ready Company Sports and Social Club killed during the Second World War, the club used to be in Park Lane Wolverhampton. The memorial is now kept in the Wednesfield R.B.L. Club Vicarage Road. The memorial is on the wall in the foyer of the club for all to see.

Biddlestone Samuel, Gunner 14577624
21 Anti-Tank Regt. Royal Artillery.
Born March 1925 son of Samuel and Alice Biddlestone, in 1939 they were living at 110 Ruskin Road, Wolverhampton, along with Samuel's older brother John.
Killed in action 4th August 1944 aged 19.
V. C. 10. St. Charles De Percy War Cemetery, Calvados, France.

Hatfield George Edgar, Civilian Firewatcher.
Married Elizabeth Reynolds December 1930 in Wolverhampton.
Injured at Ever Ready Co. Ltd., Park Lane; died same day 31st July 1942 aged 49 at 376 Wolverhampton Road, Heath Town.

Weir George Lindsley Private 5260313
6th Bn. Green Howards (Yorkshire Regt)
Born 31st January 1922 in South Shields son of George and Ellen Weir. In 1939 they were living at 7 South Crescent, Featherstone, Cannock along with George's older sisters Ellen and Wilhelmina and younger brother William; George was employed at a foundry as a 'sand hopper'. At the time of his death the family home was in Wednesfield.
Killed in action 6th April 1943 aged 21.

White Joseph Edward, Ordinary Seaman D/JX707892
H.M.M.T.B. 211. Royal Navy.
Born 26th July 1925 in Dudley son of John Henry and Violet Olive White of 29 Wolverhampton Road, Heath Town, Wolverhampton. In 1939 the family were living at 558 Stafford Road, Wolverhampton.
Joseph was admitted to Royal Naval Hospital Haslar on the morning of 19th July 1944 with multiple splinter wounds to his head, chest, and limbs. The incident happened during the Allied invasion of France.
Joseph died of his wounds 20th July 1944 aged 19.
