Died 29 February 1944 aged 23.

Aston, Kenneth William Fusilier 14766957
4th Bn. Royal Welch Fusiliers
Born 16th March 1915 in Wolverhampton, son of Joseph and Hellen Aston; he married Gladys Elizabeth Bailey in Wolverhampton in 1938.
The 1939 register records Kenneth and Gladys living at 116 Wolverhampton Road, Wolverhampton and Kenneth employed as a sheet metal worker. They had a daughter Joan born in 1940.
Killed in Action 1st March 1945 aged 29.

Banks, Charles Norman Electrical Artificer 4th Class P/SMX 4
H.M.S. Victory (S.S. Aguila) Royal Navy.
Son of Enoch and Elizabeth Banks, of Willenhall
Charles was on board SS Aguila a British steam passenger liner part of 86 Royal Navy personnel and six civilian passengers bound for Gibraltar. Aguila was one of 23 merchant ships that formed Convoy OG 71, which left Liverpool on 13 August 1941. Charles was killed in action 19th August 1941 when a wolfpack attacked OG 71, and U-201 torpedoed and sank S.S. Aguila.

Son of Ralph Theodore and Mercy Ann Glazzard, of Whitmore Reans, Wolverhampton; husband of B. Glazzard.
His brother John James Horatio also died in service.
Died 22 February 1944 aged 26.

Killed in action 23rd June 1943 when his aircraft a Stirling bomber serial number EF408 (which took off 23:40 22nd June 1943 from Newmarket) was shot down by flak near Gelsenkirchen during a raid on Mulheim.

Son of Leonard George and Fanny Elizabeth Sansom, of Wolverhampton.
He enlisted at Cardington, Bedfordshire sometime after April 1940.
Killed in action 31 May 1942 aged 19 during the 1000 bomber raid on Cologne while flying in a Wellington bomber serial number DV452 out of Elsham Wolds, Lincolnshire.

Son of John Leonard and Mary Elizabeth Smith; husband of Anne Pauline Smith, of Wolverhampton.
He enlisted at Balckpool sometime after June 1940. Killed in action 24 June, 1943 aged 21. Leonard was flying in a Wellington bomber serial number HZ413 out of Feltwell Norfolk which was shot down by a night fighter off the Dutch coast during a special signals duty sortie betwen Den Helder and Le Treport.
