The Memorials are situated within the Church, 4 Exchange Street, Wolverhampton WV1 1TS.
 
 
St Peter's has a memorial chapel that was restored in 1948 in memory of those who lost their lives in the Second World War.
It has memorials to men of both world wars and the civil war.





 

This is the roll of honour for the First World War which is within a glazed wooden frame.
On the top of the frame are written the words "For Loves Sake Remember",on the bottom the words " Greater love hath no man then this,that a man lay down his life for his friends."
On the roll above the names of the men, are the words "These loyal and gallant men who laid down their lives in the Great War."
The names of the men are recorded in date order of their deaths

The 1911 census records him living at 'Adelaide Villa' 273 Dudley Road, Wolverhampton with his mother, maternal grandmother whose home it was, his aunt and his older siblings William and Emma; he was employed as a clerk in an insurance office. The Midland Counties Express newspaper recorded on 30th October 1915 that he worked as a clerk in the Wolverhampton Corporation Borough Accountant’s department, his brother was also serving in the Army
Charles landed in France 5th March 1915 and was killed in action 13 October 1915.

On the window are the words To the Glory of God and in honour and remembrance of the officers N.C.O's and men of the the 1st and 2nd/6th Battalion South Staffordshire Regiment who gave their lives in the great war, this window was erected by their comrades
