Thomas lived all his life in Penn and when I went to St. Bartholomew's church after the war the Vicar then used to announce all the names of the deceased war veterans who lived in Penn. His parents were Thomas and Ellen Millard of Swan Bank and he left a wife Eileen, myself and my brother Michael. My mother lived in Swan Bank until her death in 1989
