Thomas lived all his life in Penn and when I went to St. Bartholomew's church after the war the Vicar then used to announce all the names of the deceased war veterans who lived in Penn. His parents were Thomas and Ellen Millard of Swan Bank and he left a wife Eileen, myself and my brother Michael. My mother lived in Swan Bank until her death in 1989

Son of Frederick and Maria Jeffries; husband of Louisa Mary Jeffries, of 109, Owen Rd., Wolverhampton. Born at Long Compton, Warwickshire. Served in the South African Campaign.
Levi and Louisa had four children

EDMUND THEODORE WILLIAMS, Private 24158

"C" Coy. 1st/6th Battalion South Staffordshire Regiment.

He was born at Bilston 20th Dec 1889.

Theo died of tetanus 11/10/1918 after being wounded in France.
He was married to Beatrice Cox in 1916,they had no children nor did she ever
remarry.
